4.Cucumber and parsley- Cucumber and parsley are wonderful cleansers and exfoliants, nourishing the skin and leaving it feeling healthy and smooth. Wash the cucumber thoroughly but do not peel it. Cut the cucumber into small chunks to make about 1 tbsp. Put the cucumber chunks into a food processor or blender and add 1 tbsp. of fresh parsley. Puree the unpeeled cucumber and parsley thoroughly. Remove the pureed cucumber and parsley mixture and transfer it to a small bowl. Add 1 tbsp. of plain organic yogurt to the cucumber and parsley and stir until the mixture is smooth.Wash your face and pat it dry. Smooth the cucumber and parsley facial mask evenly over your face and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes.Rinse the cucumber and parsley facial mask from your face with warm water, and then rinse with cool water to close your pores.Dry your face with a soft cloth and apply your favorite moisturizer.

1.     According to Dr. Nicholas Perricone, dermatologist and author of The Perricone Prescription (HarperCollins), the effects of smoking in terms of aging are significant. When we inhale just one puff of cigarette smoke, more than a trillion free radicals are produced in our lungs, which then trigger an inflammatory response that circulates throughout the body.
2.     As you know, smokers inhale the nicotine while smoking. The nicotine in cigarettes causes narrowing of the blood vessels in the outermost layers of your skin. This impairs blood flow to your skin. With less blood flow, your skin doesn't get as much oxygen and important nutrients, such as vitamin A. Everyone wants to get younger and looks pretty. But, the time will pass by and we are getting old. As people age, it's normal to get wrinkles. Anyway, let me explain about wrinkle first.  A wrinkle is a fold, ridge or crease in the skin. Skin wrinkles typically appear as a result of aging processes such as glycation or, temporarily, as the result of prolonged when immerse in water for more than a few minutes. Wrinkling in the skin is caused by habitual facial expressions, aging, sun damage, smoking, poor hydration, and various other factors. People who have spent a lot of time in the sun, at tanning salons, or smoking cigarettes might have a lot of them.

How wrinkles could happen?
Let’s get back to the moment when we are still young and wrinkle-free-times. When we're young, we don't have wrinkles because our skin does an excellent job of stretching and holding in moisture. The dermis has an elastic quality thanks to fibers called elastin that keep the skin looking and feeling young. A protein in the dermis called collagen also plays a part in preventing wrinkles.

         However, its nature of life and when the age are getting older, the dermis loses both collagen and elastin which cause skin gets thinner and has trouble getting enough moisture to the epidermis. The fat in the subcutaneous layer that gives skin a plump appearance also begins to disappear, the epidermis starts to sag, and wrinkles form. Besides, with prolonged water exposure, the outer layer of skin starts to absorb water. The skin doesn't expand evenly, causing it to wrinkle too. Depletion of water in the body, as occurs with dehydration, can also cause this puckering of the skin. Cortisol causes degradation of skin collagen.

How to prevent getting many wrinkles at an early age?
There are many ways to prevent getting wrinkles on our early age.
Don’t go to the tanning salon. The UV light from tanning booths is just as damaging as the sun's — and sometimes worse. According to American Academy of Dermatology, most bulbs used at salons emit UVA and small amounts of UVB rays. It is also believed that this is contributing to a variety of cancers. In the same time, melanin that is produced by a limited exposure of the sun will offer a little protection although you had to damage your skin to get it. The UVA rays used with tanning beds does not work in the same way. Natural sun will cause the skin to thicken and that is where the protection comes into play. Don't smoke! -Smoking robs your skin of precious moisture and causes premature (early) wrinkles. Smoking can speed up the normal aging process of your skin, contributing to wrinkles. These skin changes may occur after only 10 years of smoking. The more cigarettes you smoke and the longer you smoke, the more skin wrinkling you're likely to have. And smoking doesn't cause wrinkles only on your face. Smoking also is associated with increased wrinkling and skin damage on other parts of your body, including your inner arms.

Drink a lot of water. I did a quick review and found that respected dermatologists like Daniel Maes (Head of Research for Estee Lauder), Nicholas Perricone and countless others less famous but no less qualified all say drinking water is important to keep skin hydrated.  And hydrated skin is younger looking skin as we all know. Loss of hydration in the skin shows in all sorts of ways – dryness, tightness, flakiness. Dry skin has less resilience and is more prone to wrinkling. Water is essential to maintain skin moisture and is the vehicle for delivering essential nutrients to the skin cells.

Can we SLOW the aging process?

Yes, we can. It is never too early to develop habits that will slow the aging process. Anti-aging steps are simply the use and development of good lifestyle habits to maintain health and prevent disease. Nutrition, exercise, and attitude all play a role at keeping the aging process a positive one.
Our skin, the biggest organ in our bodies is affected by two different types of aging: intrinsic and extrinsic aging. Intrinsic aging is the rate of aging that occurs with the passage of time. It’s what many people call the aging process and how and when it happens to you is influenced by genetics. While, extrinsic aging on the other hand is the skin’s response to external damage and is controllable to a very large degree by the choices of the lifestyle you make every day.

Most researchers today agree that we can defy aging by revising the typical Western diet and minimizing damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals in the body can damage healthy cells and lead to a variety of life shortening illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer. So, one of the best anti-aging principles is to counteract free radicals and reduce the damage that they do.
The external causes of skin aging are well known and include: sun damage, alcohol consumption, smoking, and inflammation caused by poor diet or bad skin care. Extrinsic skin aging is made worse because your body’s ability to repair itself declines with age. We are all subject to the process of aging and our skin will naturally go through five key changes as we age. Below are the changes of all part of intrinsic skin aging – the natural aging process which will happen whatever we do.

  • Drier Skin – Whatever your skin type, from about the age of 30, less oil is produced by the sebaceous glands every year. So, your skin will gradually get drier.
  • Less melanin – melanin production declines with age. So, from your late thirties onwards, your skin will be less able to fight sun damage.
  • Reduced collagen and elastin – bringing a loss of elasticity and firmness to your skin.
  • Reduced ability to heal and repair skin damage – no problem when you were a child but in your 50’s, this is much slower.
  • Thinner skin – from around 40’s, the dermis and your skin’s fat layer begin to thin producing sagging and loss of plumpness. It will happen first where skin is thinnest naturally which that means under the eyes and around the neck and décolleté.
There are a few things that we can do to slow down the skin aging process:

Protect your skin from UVA or UVB light - Protect yourself from UV radiation, both indoors and out. Always seek the shade outdoors, especially between 10 AM and 4 PM. And since UVA penetrates glass, consider adding flat, tinted UV-protective film to your car’s side and rear windows as well as to house and business windows. Since both UVA and UVB are harmful, you need protection from both kinds of rays. To make sure you’re getting effective UVA as well as UVB coverage, look for a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher, plus some combination of the following UVA-screening ingredients: stabilized a avobenzone, ecamsule (a.k.a.
